Get ready for one amazing week of skiing, snowboarding and partying!

This year we are mixing it up a little and are going International!! NUSS will be going on tour to Queenstown New Zealand!!

We'll be taking 30 of you to shred up the slopes at Coronet Peak and Remarkables, party it up with the three other Australian universities and experience all the exciting activities Queenstown has to offer.

Deposits open for CURRENT NUSS members Wednesday 29th March at 3PM.

Non-Members (i.e. Alumni/Deferred students and external) will be able to purchase tickets from the 6th April.

 
  • Kia Ora! Welcome to Queenstown!

    We’re up bright and early to jump on a quick flight to Queenstown, New Zealand on Virgin Australia flight VA0161.

    On arrival in New Zealand we will have a private transfer to take us to our accommodation at Nomads Queenstown, located smack bang in the centre of town – no walking required!

  • Coronet Peak

    For our First day in New Zealand well be hitting up the slopes at Coronet Peak, Queenstown’s closest ski field.

    Coronet Peak with over 280 hectares of spectacular rollercoaster skiable terrain, offers spectacular views and plenty of tracks to suit any level of experience!

  • Today we recommend you take the time to kick back, relax, and and/or enjoy the fun adventures and activities that Queenstown has to offer.

    Members will also have the option of night skiing at Coronet Peak and experiencing après ski, Queenstown style! Check out incredible sunsets before you send it down wide-open floodlit trails at Coronet Peak.

    This Add-on will be available at a later date for roughly $79 (Exact price TBC)

  • Today we are back again at Coronet Peak, make the most of today as we’ll be at The Remarkables for the rest of the trip.

  • Today we are hitting the slopes at The Remarkables. Offering a huge 380 hectares of terrain to explore, heaps of beginner-friendly options in its protected valley location along with an array of more advanced tracks and a jump park there is something for everyone.

  • Today we are hitting the slopes at The Remarkables once again.

  • This is our last full day in New Zealand so be sure to make it count!!

    For our last day we’ll once again be hitting the slopes at The Remarkables.

  • It’s unfortunately that time of the trip when we’ll need to pack up, shed a few tears, and head home.

    Before we leave you will have the morning free to fit in some extra optional activities. Our airport transfer will pick us up from Nomads Hostel at 12:00PM. ​

    We fly out at 2:25PM on Virgin Australia VA0162 and will land in Sydney at 3:35PM.

Packages

There are four types of tickets available with the only difference being the room configuration, room amenities and price.

Our accommodation offers both mixed gender rooms and women only rooms for further details see below pricing guide.

Option 1: $1975

This is a MIXED gender 10 share room, this room has shared amenities with the whole level (i.e. toilets and showers ).

Option 2: $2075

This is a MIXED gender 6 share room, this room has its own private ensuite.

Option 3: $2075

This is a WOMEN ONLY 4 share room, this room has its own private ensuite.

Option 4: $2160 (ALUMNI/NON-MEMBERS)

** THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO STUDENTS, UNIVERSITY STAFF OR NUSS CURRENT MEMBERS **

Alumni & Non-Members will be able to purchase tickets from April 6th for $2160, although this will be dependent on availability. Alumni/Non-members will also be required to purchase a NUSPORT membership to be able to attend the trip this can be done in-person at the Forum Callaghan for $65 Alumni/Deferred Students or $90 external/non-students. This is REQUIRED for any Alumni/non-members that wish to attend, if you have not purchased a NUSPORT membership by April 20th your ticket will be forfeit and you will be refunded what you have paid minus a $100 admin fee.

Payment Plan

We know snow sports is an expensive hobby and it can be hard to pay all upfront, as such to help ease the burden we split payments in to three more manageable installments. However if you do wish to to pay all upfront you are welcome to do so.
